Continuing the Legacy with Memorials
Education is a community legacy that Grantsburg Dollars for Scholars is committed to. This legacy embraces more than just the hopeful graduates. It involves a network of people who feel a tie to their hometown, their high school, or perhaps just have a connection to Grantsburg through a parent or grandparent.
That connection can be strengthened by making Dollars for Scholars a part of your estate planning or by considering a memorial gift to DFS when a loved one passes away. It’s a unique way to let others know how much you care about education, your community and Grantsburg’s legacy of learning.
Another way to honor a loved one and continue the educational legacy is by giving a living tribute gift to DFS in honor of a birth, a graduation, an anniversary or any noteworthy event in a special person’s life.
It’s easy to designate a memorial or honor gift. Gift envelopes are available at the Grantsburg Library, Grantsburg High School office, at local banks, at Burnett Medical Center and can be mailed upon request. Simply complete the form on the envelope and send it with your gift. DFS will then acknowledge your gift by sending a card to your designated relative or friend. The amount of the donation will remain confidential.
